Pricing & Services

 

  • Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit card, Zelle, or certified checks.

  • A deposit of $25 is required if the notary has to travel more than 10 miles to the appointment; the remaining balance can be paid at the conclusion of the signing.

  • $25 Cancellation fee will be applied if canceled within 1 hour of appointment.

  • Loan Signings:

    • Loan signing: $150

    • Full purchase: $150

    • Reverse mortgage: $150

    • Loan application: $75

    • I-9 Verification: $40 within 10 miles

  • General notary services per SC Code Section 26-1-100:

    • Acknowledgement: $5 per signature

    • Jurats: $5 per signature 

    • Oath or affirmation without a signature: $5 per person

    • Signature witnessing: $5 per signature 

    • Verification of fact: $5 per certificate

    • All other notarial acts: $5

  • Travel fees (Per the SC Code Section 26-1-100 subsection A, the travel fee is both separate from the notarial fee and is neither specified nor mandated by law):

    • Mileage: $30 for the first 10 miles, $0.63 cents/each additional mile.

  • Documents:

    • Certified copies: $5 per certificate

    • Certified copies of notarial records: $1 per page

    • Printing fee: $0.50 per page 

  • Wedding officiant:

    • Basic fee: $100 (includes travel, ceremony, and paperwork — specifically for weddings located in Moncks Corner, Cross, St. Stephen, & Eutawville)

    • $125 - $225 depending on location 

    • $25 surcharge for ceremony after 6pm

    • $25 holiday surcharge (all holidays)
